Wagon Class!

El Caminos must go in the El Camino Class



Classes

  1. Original Unrestored

    Cars entered in this class will exhibit minimal restoration of the body, interior, engine and trunk area. Parts may be replaced due to mechanical malfunction, NOT for the purpose of "looks" or restoration.  Owner installed options (as long as those options were available from the factory or the dealer for that model car during that model year) are OK.

    Class includes all years 1964-1972.

     

  2. Original Restored

    Cars entered in this class will exhibit more than average restoration and 100% of the car may be restored to factory specifications.  Paint color change, interior color change, or owner installed options (as long as they were available from the factory or the dealer during that model year for that model car) are OK.

    Class is broken down as follows ...years 1964-65, 1966-67, 1968-69, 1970, and 1971-72.

     

  3. Mild Modified

    Cars entered in this class should include criteria from the original restored class, but have been "mildly" personalized to the owner's taste.  The car should have at least three (3) modifications, and may have up to seven (7) modifications to compete in this class.  NO body modifications are allowed.  A list of allowable modifications can be found below.

    MODIFICATIONS ALLOWED:

    Class is broken down as follows... years 1964-65, 1966-67, 1968-69 and 1970-72.

     

  4. Modified

    Cars entered in this class are highly modified for either racing or looks. The car may have as many modifications as the owner wishes to install.

    THE FOLLOWING CHANGES ARE AUTOMATIC ENTRY IN THE MODIFIED CLASS

    Class is broken down as follows... years 1964-67 and 1968-72.

     

  5. Daily Driver

    Cars entered into this class are actual daily drivers. The car is driven most every day, regardless of the weather and is considered one of the primary means of transportation in a household. Signs of use should be prevalent, (i.e., general wear and tear, tire use, road dirt, discoloration of undercarriage due to water and general use, paint chips/fading, etc.). Cars in this class should be properly maintained and operable/safe (i.e., pass state inspection for vehicle registration).  Any car entered in this class that is not used for regular transportation will be moved to another class at the judges discretion.

    Class is broken down as follows... years 1964-72.

     

  6. El Camino

    Cars in this class must be El Caminos or GMC Sprints. Judges look for cleanliness and quality of workmanship. Points are awarded for overall appearance and condition only. Originality is not considered.

    Class is broken down as follows... years 1964-1972.

     

  7. Later Model Chevelles and El Caminos

    Cars in this class are between the model years 1973 and 1987.

     

  8. Wagons

    Cars in this class are between the model years 1964 and 1972.

     

Best of Awards: President’s Choice, Dealer’s Choice, Attention to Detail, Best Engine, Best Interior, Crystal Award, Best of Show, MCC Ladies Choice and People’s Choice... May be others as sponsored.

Please select the class that best describes your entry. Need help?  A MCC Show Staffer will be happy to help you.  Judges reserve the right to reclassify any entry that has been improperly classed.  Awards ceremony will start approximately 4 PM (or earlier) on Saturday.

NOTE: Entries arriving on Friday may register/show.  You WILL be eligible for door prizes.
